How Do I Get Pronex?

Simply ask your doctor to write you a prescription. You may need to have your doctor supply a letter of medical necessity for your insurance.

How do I measure the amount of traction I am applying on the Pronex?

One full squeeze of the inflator bulb is approximately 1/2 pound of traction.

How many pounds of traction does the Pronex provide?

Pronex has been proven to provide 37 pounds of traction. Engineer reports are available upon request.

What size Pronex should I order?

Sizing is based on the circumference of the patient's neck.
Size regular fits a 14 - 16" neck circumference
Size large fits a 16 - 18" neck circumference
Size wide fits an 18" or greater neck circumference
If size is on the border line, go with the larger size.

How do I find out if my insurance will pay for Pronex?

Contact your insurance company and give them the HCPCS code E0855. They will be able to tell you if it is a covered item.

The average national monthly fee for Medicare is approximately $5.00. The average national monthly fee for commercial insurance is approximately $70.00. To find out what your insurance will pay, contact your insurance company and give them the E0855 code.

Warranty and Return Policy

I have a device that is no longer under warranty, can I purchase replacement parts?

Yes. Most parts can be purchased individually. Contact the company you purchased your device from to find out if they carry parts. If not, you may contact our office at 866-557-6758 to get pricing information on the part(s) you need.

I recently purchased a new part for my device, what is the warranty for individual parts purchased?

All new parts purchased are warrantied for 90 days from the date of purchase.

I've purchased the wrong size and/or model of the Pronex. Can I exchange it for the unit I need?

If you did not purchase directly from us, you must contact the company you purchased your Pronex from. Most of our distributors will work with you on exchanges.

If you purchased directly from us, we will do an exchange if the exchange of the unit is within 30 days of the purchase date at no charge. If the purchase is outside of 30 days but within 90 days, we will do an exchange with a restock fee of $25.00. No exchanges will be done outside of a 90 day purchase.
